Weiner & Lange, P.C. has an active commercial collection practice throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. We represent various trade creditors including manufacturers, distributors, equipment lessors, banks, and other lending institutions, service providers, high technology vendors, shipping companies, building supply companies, insurance companies, and other businesses in both State and Federal Courts in Massachusetts.

We specialize in all aspects of creditors' rights law, and aggressively enforce all available pre-judgment (including injunctive relief where necessary) and post-judgment remedies. From the simple goods sold and delivered case to complex fraudulent conveyance and bankruptcy issues, we have the experience, expertise and motivation to vigorously enforce our client’s rights against companies and individuals who refuse to satisfy their legal obligations. Whether the claim is for several hundred dollars or several million dollars, we have the skills needed to get the job done.

Weiner & Lange, P.C. also has a retail collection practice throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. We represent numerous banks, lending institutions, credit card companies, and debt buyers in connection with outstanding debt due from their consumer clients. We are cognizant of the need to strictly follow both State and Federal Laws pertaining to fair debt collection practices and have policies and procedures in place to ensure compliance.

Our initial demand letter is followed by telephone contact with the debtor to attempt to obtain a prompt resolution short of litigation. Should our initial attempts fail to generate satisfactory settlement arrangements, we will recommend proceeding with suit. We have various tools at our disposal, to investigate the debtor to uncover whether or not there are any assets available for attachment and/or seizure.

We understand that the collection case is often won before suit is even filed, by uncovering attachable assets. The attachment of an asset of the debtor at the outset of the case can make the difference between recovering the money that is owed and closing a file because the debtor has dissipated all of his or her assets. If settlement cannot be reached during the course of litigation, we will pursue every avenue available post-judgment to obtain payment.

When you send your claim to our firm, you can be assured that it will be given the utmost attention and every effort will be made to maximize our chances of recovering your claim. The attorneys and support staff are always available should you have any questions, once the claim has been forwarded to our office. We pride ourselves on providing good customer service including frequent and detailed reports on the status of each file sent to us for collection.

Attorney Gary Weiner who started the firm in 1994 has over twenty years of experience in representing creditors in both State and Federal Courts. As a Chapter 7 Panel Trustee, Attorney Gary Weiner has a unique area of expertise in creditors’ rights law.
